		<description>Yes, I believe that it is. You can just unmount the file if it&#039;s wrong by typing &lt;code&gt;umount /mnt/pkgs&lt;/code&gt; and trying another one.</description>

I found another one with even a different extension ! I found it on: [cdrom-mount-location]/arch/any/repo-core-any.sfs. Is this the correct packages file ?</description>

where you wrote
mount -o loop core-pkgs.sqfs /mnt/pkgs/
it should be 
mount -o loop /mnt/cdrom/core-pkgs.sqfs /mnt/pkgs/
